Loyola University Maryland offers a program at the Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven (K.U.Leuven). It is the oldest Catholic university in the world and one of the premier academic institutions in the Lowlands. This picturesque, historically rich university, with a vibrant intellectual and social life was founded in 1425. The K.U.Leuven has almost 40,000 students; almost 6,000 of them are internationals. It is world-renowned for Philosophy and Theology, but our students take courses in many other departments as well.
This program is designed to primarily accommodate Humanities, Social Science and some Business majors. All courses are taught in English. All students must take one 3-credit course in Dutch language as well as a European Culture course. Students take their courses at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (K.U. Leuven) through PECS, its study abroad Program in European Culture and Society. Continue reading
